Shimmery Smokey Eye
I had some extra time this morning, so I decided on going crazy with my Immaculate Palette from MUA. I really like the results. Maybe a little too shimmery and extreme for school, but I still like it a lot :) I used the brightest shimmery blue all over the lid, the darker shimmery blue in the crease, DARK shimmery purple in the outer V, and a shimmery pink to blend out above the crease. Liquid eyeliner from MUA in black, my GOSH mascaras Catchy Eyes and Show Me Volume in Carbon Black. To just make the outer V a little bit darker, I applied the matte black from the palette and blended it with the shimmery purple. I like how it turned out.
MUA Liquid Eyeliner in Black
So now I've tried out the MUA Liquid Eyeliner in black. And I would have to say, that if you're new to liquid liners, this is a great one to practice with.
The formula dries to a very dry line, that will crack in the inner part of your eye, where your lid is flexible and stretches when you blink, if you aren't careful. Next time I use this, I will try to set it with matte black eyeshadow. Maybe it will make a difference in the cracking in the inner part of the eye.
But the applicator/brush/felt tip is great and the handle fits great in to the hand. The very wet formula is easy to work with and if you mess up, you can easily remove it with a wet q-tip. Because it is so cheap, I believe it's 1£, you can just try and experiment until the bottle is empty. It's worth the practice.
For the price, you can't go wrong.
