Day nine

GLITTER!!

I love glitter. But not on my face, I think it looks like a fairy threw up on me. And when I saw that this challenge was glitter, I almost fainted, because I hate glittery faces. But then I got an idea! On my nails I looove it. I have five glitter polishes: gold, silver, red, blue and a purple-ish one. I think I'll just go crazy in the glitter nails. I also have loose hobby glitter, which I might also include. It's going to be awesome! Even though I hate removing glitter polish from my nails. It takes forever. I've read some where that you can use liquid glue on the nail as basecoat, then it's easier to remove, you can just peel it off. But I don't have that kind of glue. I just file my nails until most of the glitter is gone, and then I take my nail polish remover and patiently remove the rest.

End results:

This is pre-clean up because I'm a lazy piece of ... ginger. Ginger bread because it's Christmas.
It's just a dark metallic blue as the base, a red and then a gold glitter polish on top, kind of gradient. I wanted it to be more gradient, but it's so hard with glitter.  I'm pleased with the result though. It took a lot of time to layer the red glitter.

Okay it's ugly, but what the heck! Or up close it's ugly. But on distance it really pretty and glittery! And that's what I was going for, because I don't stick my fingers in to other peoples eyes.

And yes, I covered my cell phones cover in nail polish. A few days ago. My first attempt on anything "galaxy"-like. I need practice!!
