So today I went shopping with my mommy! My plan was to use the last bit of my gift vouchers, and so I did. And a little more!!
I didn't buy the leather jacket... I tried it on, and it looked awful, like... It's looked so bad?! I like to zip my leather jackets (I have three), but this one was not made to be worn zipped. So I nicely hung back on the rack.
But I found these lovely rings! I payed for them first, and then bought the clothes later because I didn't want to carry around to much. So I just put them in my purse a long with the receipt and continued shopping.
I love the rings! I wanted statement rings for a long time, so I finally got some today. They're a bit odd looking to you maybe, but I'm in love. I have a total of four statement rings now!!
First I got myself this T-shirt. I usually don't like the ones with print, but the ordinary ones are so boring and ... ordinary. I think this is really neat and unique! And it was cheap to, so I couldn't ask for more.
Then this T-shirt! Or is it a top? But again, it has a skull. But the pink color made me buy it and I really really love it. It was the same price as the one above, which was 80 Danish kroner (14 US dollars). I don't know what the price range for H&M in the US or UK, but in Denmark, this is very cheap for a very decent and famous brand!
Then this! Before we left this morning, I said, that I'd never ever own anything pastel in my wardrobe. But then I saw this this chiffon top/dress thing, and I tried it on and the color looks great on me. I've always been scared of pastels, I was afraid they'd make me look pale and dull, but apparently they don't! Which I like! So more pastel colored clothing is probably going to find it's way in to my wardrobe during spring and summer.
This was 130 Danish kroner (22 US dollars). Very good price for a great looking shirt!
Then we went to the local drugstore to buy something to eat, but my mom and I went to their beauty section (til danskerne: jeg snakker om føtex!), and I couldn't just walk right pass the Wet 'n Wild stand. So I picked up a few things, and my mom was so darn sweet to pay for the blush, even though she keeps telling me I have too much make up.
So I was looking for a cool matte brown eyeshadow, but I couldn't find any :-( so I decided to go with the Wet 'n Wild tro in Knock On Wood. It's adorable and warm, great for a so called "girl next door look", if you go easy on the crease color and focus on using the browbone shade on the lid, and the definer shade on the outer third of the lid.
I'm so much going to wear this tomorrow!
Maybelline's Dream Matte Powder in 03, Golden Beige. It doesn't look as yellow on the skin as it does in the container. Actually it doesn't look yellow on the skin at all. And it's so finely milled, that if you swirl your brush in it, it will dust up a big cloud of powder. So careful, if you have this powder. It's a shame to waste it. And it's really good! (I already tried it out, as soon as we got home). It kept me matte for a decent amount of time. I'd actually expected more from this because of all the rave on youtube, but it didn't keep me matte for as long as I thought it would have. Maybe it'll just need more testing!
And then finally one the hyped Wet 'n Wild blushes. Mine is in Berry Shimmer. I know it says shimmer, but it's not shimmery, it's more sheen/satiny in my opinion. Or, it looked like that in the swatch I did on the back of my hand. Going to wear it tomorrow to check out how it looks on the cheeks.
And then a mono eyeshadow in Nutty. I heard some where on youtube, that it's a great color for the crease or to be used alone on the entire lid. So someday I'm going to try that out too!
I think that's it for today... I don't have any more gift vouchers and no more new make up. And I hope some time will pass before I buy something again, because I feel like I have A LOT now!
Take care Ladies! :-)
