My favorite eye makeup for red lips
First off, start priming your eyelids, either with an eyelid/eyeshadow primer, or with some concealer, which you blend in to the skin. It makes the eyeshadow last longer and the better the primer, the less creasing you'll have in your crease throughout the day.
Then I take a matte black eyeshadow and apply on to my smudged eyeliner. It helps intensify the color dramatically. Like, you get SO black eyelids! You can use other colors if you want to, but for the red lips, I like the black.
Next, I'm going to take my blending brush and dip it in a warm matte brown eyeshaddow. I'll apply it in my crease, blending out the harsh lines, so I'm going to get a nice smokey effect. Like the picture to the left.
If I got out too far on my eyecorners, I'll just take a wet cloth and put one end at the side of my nose, and then hold the other end up to the outter end of my eyebrow. Then, when it's in place, I'll just slowly wipe away whatever I didn't want to be there, like so:
If I then regret the intensity of the color right under my brow, I'll just run it over with some face powder and blend it in, to neutralize the color.
THEN I drag some warm, matte brown eyeshadow along my lower lashline.
Then I highlight my browbone, fill in my brows, line my lover waterline with black eyeliner and apply mascara.
Finished look:
I must admit, I quite like this look!! I'll even wear it to school, have done so before.
Personally I would style this look with either dark green or oxblood colored pants. Then with a black top, a leather jacket, studded bracelets, a long pointless necklace and black leather boots.
