GOSH mini-haul!

Pay Day!

So today I was in the nearest mall, and I had just received my monthly pay. And I'd decided on spoiling myself a bit. In the national beauty store "Matas" there was a 3 for 2 offer on GOSH cosmetics. And I researched a lot and finally decided I would go for it. So I chose the Face Cream Primer, the Show Me Volume Mascara in carbon black and a new one, called Catchy Eyes Mascara. I can already by now tell you, that I love all of the products!
The primer has a nice and smooth consistency, the mascaras works great, especially together. But I must admit the black mascara was not as voluminous and black as I thought it would be. Maybe a bit disappointed. But I can make it work. The Catchy Eyes Mascara though, is great! And on top of the Show Me Volume, is looks amazing. Not as great as Dior Iconic, Max Factor Fusion and Nilens Jord's Jumbo Mascara though, but still great. I always pair up my mascaras, never just wear one on its own. Only when I'm testing it out.
I'll make a review of every single item when I get the time to sit down and take photos of everything! I look forward to be sharing my opinions with you Ladies! :-)

e.l.f. Mineral Lipstick review

Why e.l.f.?

I bought this as one of my first lipsticks, and I wanted it to be settle. It wasn't expensive and I wanted to purchase from e.l.f. any way. The lipstick color is "Party Pink" from the Mineral line. On the e.l.f. online store, it had many 'likes' so I figured, that if I wanted any, it should be from that line.

The container:

It comes in a little square shaped container. with a twist-up function. Like any other lipstick.
When I pick it up, it feels quite plasticy and cheap, but I've gotten used to not judging my products from the packaging.
So when I got it I was excited about trying it, because it had that many likes. And it had great recommendations on youtube and on the internet.
Below is a swatch of the lipstick on my hand. The color is really pretty and natural on the lips.

Application:

Sooo.... Clean lips first off.
Done that I applied the lipstick. It was very easy to apply and I didn't have to be very careful with the precision due to the natural and settle color. And that natural and settle lip color, does not live up to the name "Party Pink".... But it felt creamy and moisturizing and really nice on my lips. so I must admit I was impressed, and I still am, because it doesn't dry out my lips, like the Rimmel London Moisture Renew. So for that price, it definitely deserves credit for its quality.

But the staying power didn't impress me though. It didn't really stay on for as long as I thought it would and needs to be re-applied not long time after first application.

My opinion:

In my opinion this is a great starter lipstick, both due to price, but also the settle color and the creamy consistency, which is easy to work with.
I'd give it 3,5 out of 5 stars. 3,5 and not 4, because of the poor staying power, but still 3,5 and not 3, because of the lovely and workable consistency.

I hope this little review was somehow useful for some of you. :-)

DIOR: Diorshow Iconic

The look of the mascara:

Originally I wanted Dior; Diorshow. But it was sold out, so I bought this one instead.
This is what the tube looks like:  matte silvery with Dior-logo printed all over in a pattern in silver. So gorgeous! Pricey, but gorgeous!
So I come home and I'm extremely eager to try it! My expectations were very high.

The wand:

And.... my first thought in the brush was "What the f*ck??" because it looks like this:
Tiny-tiny bristles, too much product on the tip and it looked like many of the bristles were totally covered in product.
It promises length and body to the lashes. Kind of doubting that ability, due to the wet and over-covered wand.

Application:

But then, on completely clean lashes, with a steady hand, I gave the first application a try.
OH-my-God! It was amazing?! Lenghtening, not clumping and light weight. I couldn't feel I was wearing mascara, and still I just felt soooo... "Glam"! I didn't feel the weird looking kind of clumping on the bristles transferring on to my lashes.
As I use it more and more, I discover, that I don't have to be so careful, because it is SO easy to work with!!
This mascara is a great great great every day mascara, if you want natural and long looking eyelashes.
If I had to rate it, it'd get 4 out of 5 stars. 4 stars because it doesn't really add that much volume.

GOSH Boombastic Mascara REview

The look of the mascara:

This is what the mascara looks like on the outside, quite fancy being black, thick and neutral looking. So I thought, "alright, I'm gonna give it a try!". So I take the wand out of the tube, and this is what it looks like:

The bristles were very short and there was A LOT of mascara on the rounded tip. My first thought seeing this made me regret buying it. It looked wet and thick, which didn't look like a good combo with those bristles. But I applied it. It was very difficult and I hated it at first. It made my lashes clump together and it was so wet, that there all of a sudden would be mascara everywhere! Not what you need when you're in a hurry and has to catch the bus.
But after a bit of training and experimenting, I've found my technique with this! In the beginning I took my almost dried-out Max Factor False Lash Fushion and used it as a comb for separating my wet and sticky lashes, immediately after I applied it. Then by accident, I forgot to comb them right after application, but I remembered ind the last second and rushed in to comb them. And because they were only almost dry, they separated perfectly! But still... It shouldn't be necessary to experiment with other mascaras to make a new one work! So I'm quite disappointed.... My first GOSH mascara really failed. But I can work with it. Could imagine it would be good for blending false eyelashes with your natural lashes.
Eyes without mascara. Yuk!
Btw. sorry for the redness around my eyes. Just took mascara off to make this review.

My eyes with GOSH Boombastic mascara.
As you can see, I have 14 eyelashes wearing this mascara. I would like to point out, that I have more than 14 natural eyelashes!! But combing it after letting it set for 1-2 minutes helps a lot!

Manicure day

Topcoat, basecoat, Tropic Coral, GOSH 549

Getting started:

So today I decided on doing my nails. They looked awful and had done so for three days?! I was going crazy, and the chipped polish would rip off the top layer of my natural nail. So TODAY was the day. I decided on trying something new: gradient nail polish with a holographic polish and a regular polish. It ended up looking absolutely amazing and the picture does no do its justice to this combo.

Polishes I used:

As you can see on the picture, I used CND polishes and a polish from GOSH. The CND polishes were a gift I received on my 18'th birthday from my neighbor, who's a professional chiropodist (makes-your-feet-healthy-lady).
The purple is the topcoat, not as good as the one from Essie, but I can't find it right now, and especially not with wet nails. The blue one is the basecoat, and the coral-colored one is the most gorgeous coral I've ever seen so far. The holographic polish from GOSH makes incredible effect on your nails. So with those arguments, I decided to try out a holographic gradient design. This is how is came out:

Making a gradient design:

To make a gradient design, just take a regular sponge from the kitchen, if you don't have any make up sponges. Apply one stripe of your favorite color at the edge of the sponge, that's going to be the color near your cuticles. Quickly apply the matching or contrasting second color in a stripe right next to the first color, it's okay if they over-lap each other a bit.
Then, dap on to your nail, until you get the gradient effect you want. Very simple! If you want to, you can apply tape around your nails, so there isn't that much of a clean up afterwards. Allow it to dry, and top off with a good topcoat! That's it! It's so easy, takes no time, looks gorgeous and the thin layer of nailpolish makes it easy to remove as well.

10 products I'd repurchase part 2

Sixth item: e.l.f. 100 Piece Palette

This palette saves my looks a lot. There are many pretty golden colors, some metallics, some shimmery, matte and neutrals. You get a great variety of colors, if you invest in this, and it'll last you a veeeery long time! If I don't have a certain lip color for my look, I just apply lip balm to my lips and dap some eyeshadow on top of it. And it's not even that expensive, 15 British pounds for this treasure(138 danske kroner)! This thing has ONE HUNDRED DIFFERENT COLORS! I love that idea. And I'll definitely repurchase it, whenever it runs out or breaks. No doubt!

Seventh item:  Essie Topcoat "Good To Go"

This top coat performs miracles on my nail. Unfortunately I have thin and brittle nails, so my polish tends to chip of easily. BUT! This little bottle of joy makes my polish last a lot longer, makes it look super super shiny and my nails does not chips as easily when I use this! And it's just a bonus to me, that's it's a fast-drying top coat. It's quickly gone though, but that's just because I don't walk around for more than twelve hours without nail polish on my fingers. A good tip; "wrap" the polish around your nails. To be understood like this: paint the topcoat on the very tip of your nail, so that it also covers a bit of bottom side of the nail. Try and google it, if you don't understand me, I don't know how to explain it... ;)

Eight item: Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum

Another dearly beloved product. This contains a serum for the hair. My hair is dry and fuzzy, but this makes me control it! It's very expensive though, but for me, it works! I apply to dry hair, and I either use a blow-dryer or go to sleep with wet hair, and the next morning, my hair is super-duper smooth and shiny. It's very greasy on the fingers, but when applied, my hair instantly begins to absorb it. I really love this serum.

Ninth item: Garnier Mineral InvisiCalm Deodorant (pink)

This deodorant helps whenever I've been shaving under my arms. It has a little scent to it, but not much, and nothing that will steal the attention from your perfume. It really keeps away that disgusting smell of sweat, which I sometimes suffer under.

Tenth item: Max Factor Lip Elixir

The lipstick in this case, in Midnight Mauve.
It has a gorgeous color, and it's build-able, so you can get the intensity that you want. I like to just dap it on to my lips and then run my finger over it, it makes it look natural and gives it the perfect color to my skin. It cost my 110 danske kroner, which is approx. 12 British pounds.
It makes my lips so smooth and soft, and it does not fry out my lips, like the Rimmel London Moisture Renew did! And it also lasts a long time, longer than most of my other lipsticks. The only one that lasts longer, is my Kate Moss lipstick from Rimmel, but i dries my lips out a bit, and that's why I chose this product instead of  the Kate Moss lipstick.

I hope you enjoyed reading these two posts. I found it a bit challenging to choose my all time favorites, but here they are! These are the products I would run out and repurchase, if someone stole all of my beauty items. :-)

10 products I'd repurchase part 1

Sooo i figured I would let you ladies know, which products I would repurchase, if all of my make up suddenly disappeared or was lost in a fire. All of the items are going to be beauty items, so no shoes, pants or jewelry!
It's going to be difficult to choose, but I know, that I really love these things!

First item: Rimmel London Scandaleyes Mascara

This baby preforms miracles on my lashes! Despite it being very cheap, looking clumpy and wet and having a gigantic brush, it really makes my lashes look amazing. One coat is enough. At first when I got this, it was just because I had gone to a scout camp without any mascara, so I bought the cheapest I could find, when we went in to town. My first attempt with this mascara made me regret buying it, but now I really really like it!! I've found out, that there is not needed any wiggling with this one. It actually just makes your lashes clump together. But if you master patience and a calm and steady hand, you can easily get gorgeous results with this one!! I love it!

Second item: e.l.f. Studio Powder Brush

I LOVE this brush! I use it for my mineral powder, and when you use this soft and synthetic brush, you don't need to swirl it around in the powder, you only need to dip onto the powder. In that way you don't end up wasting any powder because your brush picks up too much product! Brilliant! And for it's price you can't go wrong: 3.75 British pounds? Bargain I tell you! I could imagine, that it would also be good with blushes. Not so much with bronzing though, but haven't tried it out yet.

Third item: Nilens Jord Mineral Powder

This little pot of matte powder saves everything. I promise you. I just by now found out, that it's a powder foundation, even though that's not what the sales-lady told me... But it still works great! I wear this on top of my foundation, or just with my concealer on the good days, and on the really bad and oily days, I just wear this and nothing else. It lasts for a long time and it makes your skin look beautiful and natural. Like I wrote above; use a synthetic brush, dip it onto the powder and DO NOT swirl it, unless you want a very large amount of mineral powder foundation in your face and a powder that quickly runs out. It's worth the money, a bit pricey, but worth it. It's 26 British pounds (245 danske kroner). I suppose you can find cheaper dupes elsewhere, but this one really does the job for me. The other powders I've had, didn't last long enough for me and the stupid sales-ladies chose the wrong color every time. Stupid sales-lady...

Fourth item: Nilens Jord DUO Concealer

More from the same brand. But like... Seriously?! This brand is SO good!
This concealer has two end; a stick end and a liquid end. They both cower up great, they don't cake in the fine lines or make me look greasy. It also blends in very well. I paint it on around my nose and under my eyes, and then I kinda buff it in to my skin with my foundation brush. It's a bit pricey though, but it's worth it!

Fifth item: Nina Ricci Nina edt.

This little apple shaped bottles contains the most delicious smelling scent in the world (in my opinion). It's quite expensive though, and I use it up too quickly, but I just really really love this! I've had a large and a smaller one, and I really badly want another one already. I don't think I can explain how it makes me feel, when I wear it. It just smells so feminine and fresh, yet still very sweet and soft. Not sophisticated or mysterious in any way, just fresh, alive and aplle-ish....? Anyways, I LOVE IT!!

A night out!

Party-rocking

Heeey girls!

So, the thing is, that I'm going out tonight. I'm leaving in 1½ hour. My boyfriend just left, he's invited to a party at one of the bars, and I'm just waiting for them to open up for public.
I've spent a lot of time getting ready, because I like to feel glamorous when I'm going out.
I have a ton of bobbi-pins in my hair, hair mousse, hair powder and hair spray. Like a semi-pompadour-ish hair style. I quite like it!
I'm just wearing oxblood-red pants and a black top. Simple outfit. But I forgot my accessorize at home... So I'm going to look a little wierd with no studded bracelets, a pointless long necklace and big earrings. Suppose I have to live without tonight.

Oooh my eyes!

This is my left eye. And that's how my make up looks right now. All eyeshadows are from e.l.f.'s 100 Piece Eyeshadow Set, my lashes are also from e.l.f.. The eyeliner is Helena Rubenstein, and in my water line, I'm wearing Maybelline Master Drama Khôl Eyeliner (something like that).

Finished result

This is the finished result, and sorry for the red eyes and the poor quality, but I also forgot my freakin' camera at home?!
But yeah, this is me. Glamed up and everything! On my skin I'm wearing e.l.f. Face Primer, Sans Soucis Matte Foundation, Nilens Jord mineral powder, e.l.f. blush in Mellow Mauve.
And my lips? GOSH liptint in the reddest they have. On top is my Rimmel London Lasting Finish lipstick in 169 and then a little bit of my GOSH lipgloss Volume Lip Shine in 30; Tea Rose . I've used the same trick as I showed you guyes the other day. The one with sculpting my lips with a concealer brush and some foundation. It's my best tip for perfectly shaped lips!

I've also contoured my collarbones and my cleavage, just to make everything stand a little bit more out. So now I'm going to have myself a drink, while I sit down and read other blogs, just waiting for time to pass, so I can leave his apartment and go have fun! ^_^
Have a lovely evening Ladies!

Determining your skintone. Cool or warm?

Now, this is not known by many people, unless they sit down an actually search for it. But every person has a n undertone in their skin. It can be warm, cold or neutral. It's used to find out what kind of foundation you should have, a pink-toned or a yellow-toned. As well as with the colors for the rest of the make up!! I'm going to try to explain to you, how to find your undertone, with different methods:

Basics:

Warm toned people tend to look alive and healthy, while wearing earthy colors like orange, bronze, gold, peach, brick reds, earthy greens, mocha browns and ivory. They look best in yellow based colors.

Cool toned people tend to look best in colors, that you can compare to the colors in gemstones. Those colors could be vibrant emerald green, royal or icy blues, rosy pinks, silvers, plums, and pure white. Blue based colors look best.

The vein thing

This is the advice that most people know of and is quite easy to do. What you're supposed to do? Make a fist and then you look at the veins on the inside of your wrist. It works best, if you're standing in natural light (stand by a window). What color are they? If they're:

Mainly blue: this is a sign of cool tones,

Mainly green: it's a sign of warm tones (due to the yellow undertone in the skin, the yellow makes the blue veins green, that's how you know it's warm toned)

AND if you can't determine the color because they're both blue and green, that could be a sign of, that you're neutral, which is quite handy, because then you can pull off anything!

Silver vs. gold

Warm and cool and gold and silver go hand in hand. If it's possible, find a piece of silver fabric and a piece of gold fabric. Now, in natural light in front of a mirror, take the silver cloth and put it up to your face. If it makes your face light up, you're probably cool toned.

If not, try and take the gold cloth and put it up to your face. Does the gold make you look fresh, alive and healthy? Then you're probably warm toned.

The genetic stuff

While the above "rules" have exceptions, your hair, eyes and skin can help you to determine your undertone:

Warm toned skin tend to have golden or slightly apricot tone undertone. Makes sense? When you're walking outside and it's a bit chilly, does your nose become pinky-red or peachy-red?
The hair tend to have hints of yellow, orange, red and/or golden colors.
The eyes are oftenly either amber, dark brown, hazel or green.

Cool toned skin has a pink or rosy undertone. Again, the nose-example is a good way to explain it.
The hair contains hints of blue, blue-violet, silver, drab, and ash undertones.
The eyes tend to be light blue, , grey-green, blue-green, turquoise, grey-blue or cool brown (in some rare coincidences black).

Still unable to tell whether you're warm or cool toned? Then you are most likely a neutral. That means you can wear just about anything and not look "off". But neutrals still tend to pull towards one of the skin tones. If you're a neutral pulling warm, you look best in warm but can pull off cools and so on for neutral pulling cool.

I hoped you enjoyed reading this and found it helpful! :-)

I still can't determine my skin undertone... I've got red hair, blue-grey eyes, look great in deep cool purple and bright salmony-orange. I like to wear silver jewellery, but gold still looks okay. I'm probably neutral, but I can't really figure out, if I'm pulling warm or cool... Suppose I'm just neutral then!!

What's in my makeup bag?

My little red bag

I would like to share with you ladies, what's in my makeup bag for traveling. My bag is a regular drugstore makeup bag, it cost me 25 danish kroners, which is around 2,5 british pounds. I think it's quite cute, it's shiny and fucshia colored, with some rubber-ribbon on it, that's supposed to look like little gems.

Skin makeup

Okay from left to right:
-elf blush in Mellow Mauve
-Max Factor Ageless Elexir 2in1 in Light Ivory
-Nilens Jord (danish high end mineral brand)
-elf Mineral Infused Face Primer
-Nilens Jord concealer in Light

Mascaras

From top to bottom:
-Rimmel London Scandaleyes Mascara
-Max Factor False Lash Fusion Mascara
-Christian Dior; Diorshow Iconic

Eyeshadows

These are my favorite eyeshadows in tarvelsize. Normally I use my elf 100 Piece Eyeshadow Palette, but I can't bring that along everywhere. So inststead I bring:
-Lancôme eyeshadow in Ombre Absolue (it's white, using it for highlighting)
-Bourjoirs trio palette in 13 Brun Wood

Extra tools

These are my kind of 'extra tools', because for me they're not   THAT necessary. But I still like to bring them along.
-My very cheap and very old drugstore eyebrow pencil. Can't read the name on it any more.
-Max Factor Lip Elexir in 711, Midnight Mauve
-A tester of a Max Factor eyeliner I god for Christmas  last year

My 'scent-things'...

-Garnier mineral deodorant in InvisiCalm. I really like this one. Before I only used perfume free deodorants, always roll-ons. But I still sweat through it. My mom told me about this and now I use it several times a day. It has a little bit of a scent to it. Not much, nothing that will take the attention from your perfume.
-Precious Pink perfume, edt. It was on sale, and I liked it. Needed a new perfume, so I bought it. It's goooood. Now I'm almost out :(
-A tester of a toothpaste. White Now (hahaha). Haven't tried it yet, but it has a travel friendly size. So I'll just bring it along from now on.

That's it ladies! Hope you liked it or at least enjoyed to get to know, what I keep with me, when I'm out. As you can see, I bring quite a lot.... But I can't help it. I love to do my make up. It makes me feel so pretty, and that's important to me!

Black eyes for red lips

My favorite eye makeup for red lips

First off, start priming your eyelids, either with an eyelid/eyeshadow primer, or with some concealer, which you blend in to the skin. It makes the eyeshadow last longer and the better the primer, the less creasing you'll have in your crease throughout the day.

My second move would be to apply a THICK black line on my upper lashliner, and then blend it out with either my finger, a Q-tip or a brush, so that it fills in the entire eyelid.
Then I take a matte black eyeshadow and apply on to my smudged eyeliner. It helps intensify the color dramatically. Like, you get SO black eyelids! You can use other colors if you want to, but for the red lips, I like the black.
Next, I'm going to take my blending brush and dip it in a warm matte brown eyeshaddow. I'll apply it in my crease, blending out the harsh lines, so I'm going to get a nice smokey effect. Like the picture to the left.

I know I look like an idiot,
but it's to show you where to place the cloth..

If I got out too far on my eyecorners, I'll just take a wet cloth and put one end at the side of my nose, and then hold the other end up to the outter end of my eyebrow. Then, when it's in place, I'll just slowly wipe away whatever I didn't want to be there, like so:

If I then regret the intensity of the color right under my brow, I'll just run it over with some face powder and blend it in, to neutralize the color.

THEN I drag some warm, matte brown eyeshadow along my lower lashline.

Then I highlight my browbone, fill in my brows, line my lover waterline with black eyeliner and apply mascara.

Finished look:

I must admit, I quite like this look!! I'll even wear it to school, have done so before.
Personally I would style this look with either dark green or oxblood colored pants. Then with a black top, a leather jacket, studded bracelets, a long pointless necklace and black leather boots.

(Products used on the pictures:
-Max Factor Ageless Elexir 2in1
-Nilens Jord Concealer
-Nilens Jord mineralpowder
-e.l.f. faceprimer and all eyeshadows
-Lancôme white eyeshadow for highlighting
-Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess
-GOSH Boombastic mascara
-And the red lips from last post)

Oooh the redness

Oooh the redness

So I figured, that I would show you guys, how I manage to wear red lipstick, so it doesn't smear off during the day and how I sculpt my lips, so it's symetrical and evenly colored.
The lipstick, which I will be using in this post, is Rimmel London's Lasting Finish By Kate Lipstick in number 13, a bright and beautiful red!
I bought this with half price off, so it was only 34,5 danish kroners, which is approx. 4 english pounds.
In the beginning I was very frightened of the color and didn't know when I would even wear it? But I said to my self, that I needed a red lipstick, because I didn't have any back then.

This is me without make up on my lips, and there isn't foundation run over them or anything, just plain bare lips. Pretty ugly, that tey're so pale, but then I just wear lipstick or liptint!!

So for a start, I always moisturize my lips 5 minutes before I apply lipcolor. I get veeery dry lips during winter, which p*sses me off, because I want my lips to soft :(
But a great tip is to use body oil, just one drop, on your lips, before you go to sleep! It saves my lips every time!

I begin with applying the lipcolor in the center of my lips, and then I take a lip-brush and begin to paint the color outwards. Using a brush gives you a more precise application and makes the color last for a longer time, because you don't apply too much product.

After filling my lips in with the color, I take either my foundation or my concealer, and a concealer brush, and begin to sculpt my lips. I do that, by dipping the brush in the product, then make a few strokes on the back of my hand to get the excess off, so I won't have a big blob of foundation right under my lip.
Then I slooowly drag the brush along the edges of my lips, so I get a nice and even line, that isn't blended with the lipcolor.

Then finish off with a with of clear lipgloss and you're good to go! :D

Bonus info: I wore this lipstick today, I applied it at 8:45 in the morning, and I still had color left on my lips, when I got home this evening at six o'clock in the evening. It has AMAZING staying power!! I'm already planning on getting a darker red from same line/collection (the one with Kate Moss)!!

Thanks for reading!

This is the lipsticks I was Talking about in an earlier post today. You have names, numbers and swatches. Hope it's useful in some way :-)

My new hair cut!

Soooo today I was at the hairdresser. I was quite confused, because normally more than 4 months pass in between my visits to the hairdresser. This time only 1½ month had passed and I didn't know how i wanted my hair to be. But some time ago, 2 years ago I think, I had my hair cut in a way, that featured my natural curls.
My hair had gotten really heavy and had split ends every where, even my split ends would have split ends.... Kind of sad, because my hair can look absolutely gorgeous if I give it a try.

This is me before the hair cut(and yes, I'm standing in the hairdresser's bathroom, awful lightening!), after I've had my hair washed.

When I got in the chair I began explaining how I would like to have my hair curly again, and she said, that it wouldn't be a problem. So she began cutting it and I just sat there and looked at all that hair fall towards the floor......

This is me after she was done cutting my hair! I am SOOOO happy with the result, I have NOTHING to complain about. It's so voluminous and curly and red and shiny... *drool* (note: it's my natural hair color)

I noticed she used a curl-cream from TIGI Curlesque Curl Collection. Normally my scalp HATES TIGI products, but since this product is not meant to touch the scalp, I'm so far not experiencing any trouble with it. It's a great brand, and if it wasn't because I got allergic while using it, I would continue, because they smell great, they're effective and has a long lasting result, both shampoo, conditioner and everything that comes along.
<--It was this product she used, and I'm seriously considering buying it, even though it's almost Christmas and my money should go to presents. But hair is SO important to define who you really are???

Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick

That red

Yesterday i bought two of these lipsticks from Rimmel London. They were on sale for approx  £2. I bought two of them, one in the shade 169, Eyes On Me, and another one in a nude shade with a little shimmer to it, 070, Airy Fairy. And of course a lipglos as well, but it's veeery shimmery, so I don't know how much I'm going to use it, but I love lipglosses as well as lipsticks.
When I first bought this I wasn't sure of how good it would be, because my other Rimmel lipstick dries my lips out, completely. It really disappointed me, because I had heard so much good about it. So I'm not really using it any more. I actually had to go to sleep with body oil on my lips to moisturize them again.

But these two lipsticks really doesn't dry my lips out.
<-- And that one, 169, gives my lips a nice tint, so the color doesn't disappear after half an hour. Because my lips are very small and thin, it's difficult for me to apply a nice lipstick, that sculpts my lips in a nice way. But these weren't difficult to work with, they come on really smooth and if I run my finger over my lips afterwards, the color sinks in to my lips, and I can pad away extra moisture with a tissue, so it doesn't smear.

I'm really liking these lipsticks!! The color of this lipstick it deep red, very beautiful! And wearable as well.

I've just as I'm writing been wearing this lipstick for 4 hours, I've been drinking both tea and hot chocolate, and it did NOT smear off. It was first when I wiped my mouth in a cloth I could trace the red color from my lips. Very satisfied with this product! =)
