It New Years Eve tomorrow! I'm so excited! I'm going to party with my family and my friends! Mmmh<3
So this afternoon I've been getting ready. After my boyfriend headed home, I've scrubbed my face and enjoyed sitting with a face mask on. I want my skin to be baby smooth for tomorrow, as much as it can.
And I'm at the moment also letting a hair mask sink in to my hair.
First!
Face scrub, to get all the dirt and dead skin cells off my face. I use Neutrogena Visibly Clear Blackhead Eliminating Face Scrub. I like it a lot because you can feel how it gets rid off the blackheads already after first use. It has tiny micro beads in it, and even with the most gentle circular motions, you're ably to see results! And it's not crazily expensive.
Second!
I used my Clearasil Daily Clear Wash and Mask. I used it as the mask. I apply it to my skin after I used the scrub and tapped the most water off my face. Then I let it sit for 3-5 minutes. What it does is it gets rid of the last dirt and adds moisture and nutrition to the skin. Kind of heals it.
I wash it off with medium warm water.
Third!
I apply a good moisturizer to my face. I use my Garnier Ultra Lift Night cream. It's really moisturizing and I like the smell. And it works, which is what I hoped for. It's expensive unless it's on sale, so I expected it to work. It's not the best off all, but it has actually firmed my skin a bit and reduced some of the fine lines under my eyes.
Fourth!
I get my hair all wet and apple my L'Oréal Professionel Force Vector hair mask. I let it stay in for 10-15 minutes and then wash it out with a little amount of shampoo. It makes my hair SO soft. And then I add some moisturizing serum to my hair, when it's still a little wet. I allow my hair to air dry because I don't want to expose it to heat all the time, I allow it to recover after all these Christmas days, where I've been curling my hair like crazy.
Bonus:
I also apply my moisturizing serum before I curl my hair. I want to prevent the damage instead of curing it. And I use a moisturizing serum because exposing your hair to heat very often dries it out and makes it brittle and splits the ends. Or well, my hair does that. I can't say if your hair does :-)
